Verification Code FAQs
Can't See Image?
If you're not sure what the code is, make your best guess. If you're
incorrect, you'll get another chance to enter a different code on
the next screen. You can also click the [Refresh
Image] Radio Button to upload a new image.
If you still do not see a code:
- Refresh the page and a new code will appear in the box.
- Make sure the version of your browser is current. At least Internet Explorer 5.0 or Netscape 6.0 or higher.
- Make sure your graphics (pictures and images) are turned on or enabled in your browser.
- Close your browser completely, then reopen it and return to the original online web form.
What is Verification Code?
The Verification Code is a word in a picture on a web form. This
word must be entered in the Verification Code input box in order to
complete any web form submission. There are no spaces in any
of the verification words and all words are Case Sensitive.
Example: Verification Image

Why are we using this type of verification?
To try and stop automated scripts from submitting SPAM type information into our
online web forms. Some of our web pages are now using a challenge-response
test called CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing Test) to tell computers
and humans apart. This process displays a picture on the webpage with a word in
the picture. Although this test is not always 100% fool-proof, many computer
programs have a hard time recognizing words presented in this way while most
humans do not.
I have a visual disability and cannot see the Verification
Image correctly. What do I do?
