Changing Monitor Resolution/Colors

Macintosh
- From the apple menu (top left corner), select "Control Panels".
- From there, double-click the "Monitors" or "Monitors and Sound" control panel.
- Select the monitor setting of "800 x 600" or higher.
- Your screen will go dark and the new size screen will appear.
- Close the control panel.
Windows
- Click "Start" menu (lower left corner) and hold down left mouse button.
- Scroll up to "Settings" and over to "Control Panel" (release mouse button).
- Once open, double-click "Display".
- Once open, click on the "settings" tab.
- Move the slider until "800 X 600" is displayed (Desktop Area).
- Use down arrow to select "16-bit Color" (Color Palette).
- Press "OK" (follow the directions) - You may want to try to use these setting without restarting your computer. In most cases your computer will accept these setting without any problems (assuming you have enough "Free System Resources").
- Close the control panel.
